Here we go! LENT is upon us and we are a busy, busy church! Wednesday Pastor Sarah and I will be offering Ashes and Prayer at East Union Parish Hall 7-9am. Pull on up and visit us.
Worship is at NOON with lunch following and 7pm with dinner at 6pm served by our very own Church Basement Ladies-Women of Faith. We begin our Lenten journey of midweek worship each Wednesday with this same schedule. We alternate between West and East Union weekly. See your newsletter for details.
NO Bible Study Wednesday. Sunday we will meet after worship and go thru our Chapter on Islam in our Bible Study book. All are Welcome to join this discussion. Read the chapter!
THIS SUNDAY IS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME-WE SPRING OUR CLOCKS FORWARD! If you forget you will be very early for worship and I will gladly find tasks for you to do around the church building.
Other things to look forward to are: March 24th Youth BINGO! April 7th Blessing of Farmers and last week of Sunday School. April 14th Palm Sunday Breakfast. April 21st Easter. April 28th Polka Band Worship and Turkey Dinner fundraiser. May 5th Confirmation Sunday with congregation dinner hosted by Confirmand’s families.
