Wow! What a weekend! Thank you to the Fellowship & Outreach committees and ALL the volunteers that help make our Turkey Dinner fundraiser a success. We do not have final numbers yet, we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

And the Silent Action Items that brought in over $300*. Our drawing buckets brought in around $250*. Great News!! The Quilt brought in $500* (*estimates) Served around 135 people plus take home meals at the end.
- THIS SUNDAY: CONFIRMATION. Sydney Kienholz & Cadence Peterson will affirm their Baptism, having successfully completed the confirmation program. Please join us for this important day in their lives and the life of our faith community. The families invited everyone to join in the celebration following worship. A light lunch and cake will be served.
- MONDAY May 6th @ 7pm the Country Market planning begins. If you can come and help us organize our Market for Sept, please join us. If you can’t make it but wish to help, please contact Heidi Schmidt.
- May 16th 5:30-7:30pm WULC is volunteering at Feed My Starving Children @ the Chanhassen location: 18732 Lake Drive East. Chanhassen, MN 55317 The minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. We have reserved 75 spots for our group. Please contact Bev Olson to register to help!!
- Golf tournament fundraiser for Green Lake Bible Camp
Green Lake is the camp that we use to conduct our Vacation Bible School
The tournament will be June 1st @ Atikwa Golf Couse at the Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN. It is a “4 person Scramble” tournament. 2pm shot-gun start. $75/person. It includes 18 holes with cart, food, 1st place prize, hole prizes and door prizes.

- Vacation Bible School: June 17th-20th The team met last night, and we are excited for our upcoming VBS week with Green Lake Lutheran Ministries. VBS is held at West Union this year, so we will need volunteers to help that week. More info is coming out in the newsletter this week. A letter from Christian Ed. Team will go out to families soon, as well.
