Hello Church,

Well, I hope the wind didn’t blow you into next week already! WOW! That was mighty. I’d also like to remind you to be praying for that person you chose for the month. There are a few stars left from Sunday’s worship if you didn’t get a word for the year. Let me know!

Council met last night, we talked about the stuff we were proud of this past year: New SS teachers, Country Market, God’s Work Our Hands, Thanksgiving meal delivery, Feed my starving Children service project, Polka Fest and Turkey Dinner, Youth planning awesome activities, council for teamwork, support from committee members, church having fun together.

Things we hope to see happen in 2019: Committee chairs delegating, growth in membership (new people), getting old members to come again, growth in members being involved more, be more visible in the wider community.

AND: Jennifer Nobilis has volunteered to help organize our community garden!! Thank you, Jennifer! Keep an eye out for details soon!

Next Week:

Wednesday morning at 10am we start our new Bible Study on Christianity and World Religions. Books are in the office. If you desire to participate in this study, please pick up a book this week and read the first chapter before we meet. Questions People Ask.

We will offer this study on Sunday mornings as well beginning January 20th. Again, have Chapter 1 read before coming to class.

January 20th for the folks attending the Church Basement Ladies show, we will meet at church at 12:45 to car pool. We will be going out for dinner afterwards to the Mediterranean Cruise Café, near the Ames Center for the Arts in Bloomington. See Ruth Labo for information.

We are putting the Technology Team back together again. If you are interested in helping up please let the office know.

That’s it for now!! I am sure I forgot something, but there is always email!!
