Youth Faith Formation
 

Youth Faith Formation (formerly known as "confirmation") is the time in a youth's life when they develop critical thinking and learning skills about their faith leading towards an affirmation of Christian faith. Through our time together, students have the opportunity to explore their faith by asking questions, digging deeper, serving others, and learning more about God and the Church. They will journey alongside the pastor and their peers. 

 

Students 8th Grade and older will are invited to publicly affirm their faith in the spring.

All Are Welcome

 

Youth Faith Formation is for anyone upper middle school through high school. Middle school and high school students are learning foundational faith skills. High school students can also take part in leadership. 

 

You do not need to already be a member of West Union Lutheran to join in the Youth Faith Formation. Open to those in upper middle school and high school.

Forming Faith

 

We ask all students to complete 7 worship reflection throughout the year. It's purpose to is help the student connect with who they worship with, God, and God's Word.

Students can find the online Worship Reflection form here.
 

Wednesday Night Schedule starting at 6:30pm

Youth Ministry (7th - 12th Grade)

 

Youth ministry is a vibrant part of our West Union identity. It's built upon a model of relationship: with each other, with God, and with our neighbors. Serving our local community, have fun together, and supporting the ministry of the church is what we do.

 

We let our youth guide us - helping determine the fun we have, the mission trips we do, and leading in church ministry in ways that connects with their gifts.
