Pastor Adam was called to West Union in November 2020. He grew up the child of active Airforce parents. Born in Wichita, KS, an early childhood in the Mojave Desert in CA, but he called south central Wisconsin his home growing up. He earned a BA degree in Religion at Lutheran College and a Master of Divinity Degree at Luther Seminary where he graduated with an emphasis on Children, Youth, and Family Ministry.
He has had many different experiences in church ministry. Growing up in rural Wisconsin he grew to understand the value of a community of faith that deeply cared for one another. During his years in seminary he experienced community life in Edina and Robbinsdale. His first call, where he served from 2014-2020 was Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran in Prior Lake. His primary pastoral work was with families and he taught a confirmation class of over 500 each week.
He is excited to pastor at West Union Lutheran because of their great care and emphasis on children and youth ministry. West Union also has a strong leadership in volunteering, leading, and caring for our neighbors near and far.
Pastor Adam is married to Kara and together they have 3 beautiful children, twin 5-year-old boys and a 2-year-old girl. As a family they love to go on hikes, read books, and watch movies.
